Kacheena Lucas graduated from Bloomfield College in 2016 with a B.A in Sociology. She always knew that she wanted to be create meaningful and positive impacts in her community. In order to do more, she knew that it was imperative to continue her education, which brought her to WashU. She is currently in her 2nd year of the MSW at the Brown School concentrating in Domestic Social and Economic Development. Post-graduation plans include working with higher education initiatives and preparatory college programs that aide in developing successful outcomes in higher education for low-income students and students of color.
