Jing Gong, MSW, graduated from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis in December 2016.
Jing focused her studies at the Brown School on Children, Youth and Family. She is from China and her previous experiences include early childhood intervention research, enhancing parent-child relationship, and program evaluation. Jing is passionate about promoting social mobility through early childhood and community-level intervention. The Race and Opportunity Lab was valuable to her because it provided her with a better understanding of the race and social mobility issues in St. Louis and was an opportunity to sharpen her skills in research and data analysis.
