Jia is a second-year MSW student at the Brown School of Social Work concentrating in Health. Originally from China, Jia received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
Jia is a graduate research assistant at the Race and Opportunity Lab and worked on the PPN project and the Mentoring Connection project, and she also assisted in other research work. Jia is interested in minority’s health and health equity, and will pursue a career of hospital social work upon graduation.
