Dr. Phylicia Bediako, PhD, B.S.

Phylicia Bediako, PhD, is pursuing an MSW at the Brown School. Phylicia received a dual-title PhD in Health Policy and Administration and Demography from the Pennsylvania State University and her BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on sexual and reproductive health issues among vulnerable populations in global settings. She is particularly interested in developing strategies to prevent negative outcomes of sexual victimization, exploitation, and trauma experiences for socially disadvantaged populations.
