Alyssa Finner has been with the Race and Opportunity lab since 2019, previously working as the lab’s Healing Policies Initiative Project Coordinator. Alyssa is a graduate of the Brown School’s Master of Social Work program, in which she concentrated in Domestic Social and Economic Development and specialized in Management. She is originally from Orlando, FL, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Statistics at the University of Central Florida. Alyssa is passionate about fostering the upward social and economic mobility of historically under-served groups through evidence-based programs, policies, and systems. As the Community Engagement Coordinator for the lab, Alyssa enjoys being able to connect with and learn from the individuals and organizations doing this work in St. Louis.
