Katie Aguayo, MSW, LCSW

Katie Aguayo was a member of the Race and Opportunity lab during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years.

Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in May 2016, having double-majored in Psychology and Applied Psychology & Human Development, as well as completed minors in Gender Studies, Special Education, and Sociology. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant at Boston College, Harvard University, and Northwestern University, studying infant, child, and adult cognition. In May 2018, Katie will graduate with her MSW from Washington University. After graduation, Katie will return to Boston to work as a clinician at a large nonprofit agency, providing community-based and residential care to at-risk children and families. Her current research interests include adolescent dating violence, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and suicide prevention and intervention.
